About International Justice Mission
International Justice Mission is a global organization that protects the poor from violence throughout the developing world. IJM lawyers, investigators, and aftercare professionals partner with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems.
International Justice Mission works to combat violence around the world in a variety of areas, including sex trafficking, forced labor slavery, illegal property grabbing, police abuse of power, child sexual assault, and citizenship rights abuse.
About the IJM Freedom Tour
The IJM Freedom tour is a bicycle ride in the Pacific Northwest that traverses 500 miles from Seattle to Portland, all while helping end injustice with IJM. From the densely forested alpine lakes of Western Washington, to the bicycle-friendly urban landscape of Seattle and Portland, cyclists will through beautiful, remote, and challenging landscapes.
After team training in Seattle, the team will ferry across the Puget Sound and head north along the coast. We’ll follow Highway 101 West until we hit the Pacific Ocean, and from there, it’s a few hundred more miles of ocean vistas, towering peaks, and the most epic uphills – and downhills – you’ll ever cycle. With a strong focus on biblical social justice and discipleship, the IJM Freedom Tour team will study, learn, reflect, and wrestle together on some of life’s most important and pressing questions:
Who am I? Who is God? How might I respond to suffering and injustice in the world? Is there really any good news about injustice, and if so, how can I be a part of it?
And as the team meets their fundraising goals prior to departing, they'll inspire communities to actively engage in the redemptive and beautiful story of justice and hope that God is writing right here, and right now, through the International Justice Mission’s work with oppressed people around the world.
When you join the Pacific Northwest tour, you’ll help International Justice Mission rescue thousands, protect millions, and prove that justice for the poor is possible. Learn more about these programs.
